3 hours battery, & reliable
Good value, comes with car and wall charger etc. Battery lasts longer than I expected. Decent picture for a low price. Shuts off screen to save battery when playing CD's, shuts off when finished (if you fell asleep), re-starts playing DVD at same point after long pause & switching off, if you simply reset on/off switch. Sturdy feel. When I want big sound I plug in computer speakers or auxiliary input to amplifier. .... Read more

Coby DVD Player - Great value!
This DVD player has excellent picture and decent sound. I could not expect more for the price. It has always worked fine for me while playing copied DVD's, Movies or home videos. It has never freezed up on me either. The sound isn't real loud but I would not expect a player this size to be very loud. That is what the earphones are for. .... Read more

I couldn't complain about the picture while my machine lasted. (about 6 mos.) sound not very good for use in an auto without ear plugs. got where it couldn't seem to read my dvd's.At least the motor still works, just can't watch anything. Don't recommend due to its short life. .... Read more

Company has bad RMA policy. Bad Coby, Bad!
This is a link from the Coby website. Mine does not 'spin up' so can't read disks after 2 months of ownership and maybe 15 hours of use.

Got this for my son and I use it as much as he does. superior quality picture and only problem is without ear plugs, hard to hear. Plugs hurt my ears but you can hear great with them!!! .... Read more
