Surprised and not happy
I was so happy to get this wonderful and compact dvd player, I did not use it alot at first but now that I have to commute to work I use it for the ride, I have been using it for 2 weeks now and after the first 4 days-only one half hour a day-it stops constantly and break up constantly and then it whirls around alot, so this is not going to work for my commute. I guess I will have to go out and buy a different model I am very unhappy about this as some of the reviews are mixed, I guess I got a .... Read more

Stopped Working On 3rd DVD
I received this DVD player last week and was so excited! We plugged it in and played a DVD and it was great! We played another one - great! Then, on the third DVD, it just stopped working. We checked the power source, tried different discs - nothing. It completely stopped working. Based I my experience, I can not recommend this product. .... Read more

Sand Trap , not worth $100, not worth my time :(
So if someone does sue Coby, let me know first thing. It has a great LCD screen. But everything else is poorly made. It's a sand trap because you can't contact customer service to return the item. I've emailed way too many times and called twice. Zilch. I've sent BBB on them over the battery that caught fire with this item. And contrary to what I've heard, the battery is not supposed to be attached to the device while your are using it.

Great for two months
I purchased this about 2.5 months ago. When I first got it all was great, I enjoyed taking it to the laundry room, kitchen, bedroom. But after about 2 months any DVD I put in would get stuck at some point. I thought it might be because some were library DVDs but they were fine on our Sony DVD player, same with the DVDs that we own. Now we can't seem to be able to play any DVDs on it without it stopping at some point. .... Read more
