Audiovox DVD Player Reivew
This is a great portable DVD Player for my 5 year old. This is the 3rd one we purchased and it has held up magnificently over the past 3 years.

It is sturdy and now that she is older it will last longer. It is the perfect thing on her bedtray at night to watch one dvd and then off it goes and she goes to bed. Unfortunately, our fault, she got crumbs and droppped the first one but this also has the largest screen size, much better than those 8 or 7 inch models.

sputters along for a year or so & then dies
It "worked" for little more than a year, but never satisfactorily. The sound was always tinny & the machine was overly sensitive to flaws & scratches in the DVD, often freezing up (usually at climactic moments in the film), which required me to transfer the DVD to my computer or home player, where it worked fine. Also, whenever I used the controls to rewind, fast forward, pause, etc. I knew I would soon pay the price of the film freezing up. So it only worked with perfect DVD's & then only if .... Read more
